AI2L is a worldwide alliance connecting legal innovation ecosystems across different countries. It promotes cross-border cultural exchange, technology development, regulatory transformation, and leadership training.
On 25 June 2025 the Brazilian Legal Tech and Lawtech Association – AB2L held its first international summit at the headquarters of London law firm Mishcon de Reya LLP. The event brought together senior representatives of legal tech, lawtech and legal innovation associations from across the globe.
At the AB2L London Summit, AI2L was launched by AB2L President Daniel Marques, ALITA Co-Chair Brian Tang, ILTN Founder Shreya Vajpei, and ELTA VP Marisa M. Borsboom, also representing APLT.
Leading AI publication Artificial Lawyer was present at the Summit and promptly reported the creation of the new global Alliance: “Multiple regional legal tech groups, including ELTA, ALITA in the Asia-Pacific, and AB2L in Brazil, have formed a global alliance for innovation called AI2L.
The aim is to bring together multiple organisations that promote and support legal innovation to create a more joined up, worldwide platform.
